Since 2009, HUG COMMUNICATION has been utlizing the Internet to sell on Amazon, Yahoo! Auctions and our online store, CDs, DVDs, games, comic books, and action figures.
In the recent years, many businesses have shifted from brick and mortar type-sales to doing businesses on the Internet, but we firmly believe in pursuing product sales, planning, and purchasing in both physical store and online.
Our mission is to bring to the world “Made in Japan,” items, Japanese culture, anime-related products and action figures; To propose expanding sales efforts to the cyberspace to traditional-type retail businesses and vice versa; To become a bridge between physical stores and the Internet. Our mission is to create synergy by combining subculture with other businesses. Our mission, most importantly, is to bring smiles to our customers. With that in our hearts, we have moved our main office to Nakano, Tokyo, the mecca of Japanese subculture. We will bring to the world something that only we can provide from Nakano, the sacred city of Japanese subculture. Our office will be like a secret base, befitting of a company dealing with subculture. We hope to encourage future business owners by showing there are exciting companies like ours and that the future of starting a business is bright.
We will strive to making the second Broadway in Nakano and let people around the world know the exciting and wonderful Nakano. Lastly, we hope that we can be a part of livening up the “Made in Japan,” Otaku-culture, and Japanese subculture by working hand in hand with Japanese manufacturers and retail businesses.
