Always be smiley and cheerful. And keep a smooth management style in mind!

I mainly work for general affairs,
which is the foundation of the company.
I also hire part-time staff and regulate the entire operation.
By nature I hate when things don’t go smoothly, so I can’t help keeping my eyes on whether things are going ok or not.
Also as I feel very happy whenever our clients say “thank you” to us,
I always try to improve our service.
I think my current role is to create the working environment in which our staff can feel happy and comfortable as well as making our clients feel that they want to receive more service from us.
In order to do so, I would like to improve our working environment so that our staff and part-timers can work smoothly, enthusiastically, and happily.

As “anime” and “manga” have become English words,
I would like to deliver more Japanese culture to the rest of the world.

I currently work in the domestic and international sales department.
Except when I was a child, I never really watched anime until I got this job; I don’t have a TV at home now.
However, I got to know that overseas anime means Japanese animation and manga means Japanese manga and realized how popular Japanese culture is abroad.
For those who like Japanese culture, I work to deliver what they are looking for.
I don’t want to hear “I want this, but I cannot buy this because it is not sold here.” I am very glad to be able to deliver what customers are looking for. This is very worthy work.

Q1: What kind of work do you feel is worthwhile and fulfilling?
Market research. There are always surprises and discoveries such as “Is this item popular in this country now!?” and “Really? Why is this so popular in this country?”

Q2: What are your favorite shops or restaurants in Nakano?
It’s Gou. I recently discovered this place, but it’s very reasonable and so delicious.

Q3: What is your favorite anime or manga?
I like the manga Uso-kui. I especially like its unique view of the world, occasional surreal humor, unexpected plot twists, and crazy battles.

“I can do what I like to do as my job.”

Since I was a student, I have loved watching movies, photos, and illustrations on the Internet.
Whenever I had time at home or recess at school, I was always glued to my computer.
I was a bit addicted, I think. Lol With those experiences, now I am a producer of those kinds of media, not a watcher.
Mainly I take photos and films, and edit the photos and movies.
While I do my job, I always forget about time.
It shows how much I love my job and how much I feel it’s worthwhile and fulfilling.
I am still learning, but I will do my best to provide my audience with pleasure and a lasting impression of my work.

Q1: What kind of work do you feel is worthwhile and fulfilling?
When I take photos or make films, I feel super happy if I can draw out the best qualities of the people in my work.

Q2: What are your favorite shops or restaurants in Nakano?
I like any privately owned Izakaya restaurants. Compared to chain restaurants, you can talk to people, and they have a heart-warming atmosphere. The food is really good, too!

Q3: What is your favorite anime or manga?
I am into WEB manga these days. If there is a lot of flexibility in the story such as those often found in amateur web cartoons that are published in book form or proper anime form, I would like to support them.
